Description:
Weldman A3 is high chromium, high manganese alloy used in the rebuilding/joining of manganese/ carbon steel parts subject to severe impact loading. Deposits are very tough and work hardens quickly under high impact. It is self-shielding. It is often used in applications of impactor bars, railroad crossings and crusher rolls. Weldman A3 uses DC straight or reverse polarity. It has poor machinability, no surface checks, high impact resistance and fair abrasive resistance.
Contains: carbon, silicon, nickel, chromium, manganese
