Description:
Weldite D is the hardest hardfacing electrode besides tungsten carbide. Best for parts subject to impact and abrasion. Weldite D can be applied to AC or DC with straight or reverse polarity. Reverse is recommended but straight can be used for an increased deposit.

Weldite D has an excellent abrasion resistance, and moderate compressive strengths and impact resistance. Weldite D has surface checks, and no machineable or forgeable deposits. It is slightly magnetic on carbon steel.

Contains: Carbon, manganese, molybdenum, boron and chromium.
